I'm Conroy Davis — RoyblingE90. I run a car-parts community across Instagram (@royblinge90), TikTok (@pistonplays), and YouTube (Piston Play) — and I got tired of watching car people get exploited.
Here's the part of the aftermarket most buyers never see: by the time a part reaches a retail shelf or a branded website, it has passed through layers — importer, distributor, retailer — and each layer adds cost. Marketing, sponsorships, and packaging get baked in too. So the price you see can be several times what the part cost leaving the factory, with no easy way to see what each layer charged you for.
That gap isn't automatically a rip-off. Brands can add real value: original design and R&D, batch testing and quality control, a warranty they'll actually honor, customer support that answers the phone, fast local delivery, and easy returns. A big brake kit or a set of forged wheels is exactly where testing and support matter most — and that's worth paying for when it's real.
But buyers deserve the full picture: what the part costs at the source, and what the markup is actually buying them. That's the gap FactoryPlug closes. My core message, the one this whole project runs on:
"It's not expensive to modify your car — companies are just charging way too much money."
That's my position, stated plainly: when the premium buys you nothing but a logo, you're overpaying. When it buys real testing, warranty, and support, say so and pay it gladly. This site gives you the information to tell the difference.
This site is a supply-chain intelligence directory. For every part, we show the supplier's listed price with the actual supplier rating, transaction history, and specs. Where we've captured a comparable US retail price, we show it alongside so you can compare honestly; where we haven't captured one yet, our price-comparison guide shows you how to check it yourself. Then we hand you the link straight to the supplier so you can buy it yourself.
And to be clear: we're not selling you anything. We market the products; we don't sell them. We hold no inventory and run no checkout. If we earn anything, it's an affiliate commission from the supplier link, at no extra cost to you.
Phase one is this: make the supply chain visible, source smarter, and help the car community keep its money. But the long-term vision — the real why — is bringing automotive parts manufacturing back to America and creating American jobs here. That's the vision we're working toward; it's not something we claim to do today. Sourcing honestly and showing the real economics is step one.
Nobody else is doing this for the car community: explaining how the automotive supply chain actually works — where parts are listed, what they cost at the source, and what each markup layer buys you. That's what FactoryPlug is. That's why it's here. 🔌
